Spring is in the Air!
As much as we had the “Beast from the East” to try and confuse us there are clear signs that Spring is on it’s way. The world around us is changing as new life breaks forth from the hibernation of winter. It has been a busy couple of months for Samanya Yoga, in class we have considered new year resolutions being a theme rather than specific. Then we explored our samskaras or habitual patterns that need to change in order for our new year theme to perhaps become reality. This month we are following on from this with reflecting on change and how we can tap into the energy of spring to helps us realise the changes that need to occur. Acceptance and letting go are key elements of change but with it comes uncertainty. In class we will be using our yoga practise to help understand these fundamental aspects of yoga philosophy.
